Pictures Of My Hair Dyed Blue

Here is a picture of my blue hair. This is a couple of days after using Special Effects blue hair dye.

Here is another picture of my blue hair. This is around two and a half weeks after using Special Effects dye so it is already starting to fade to green.

what kind of shampoo do you use? I use the special effects hair dye as well, blue mayhem and I use the shampoo for color treated hair, I can usually get 3-4 weeks out of the bright blue before fading really begins. This is all you can expect from any semi-permanent. I haven't found a permanent dye either, but would like to!

just fyi, blue is not going to do well OVER dark hair for those of you that have never tried this. i have used a brand called splat that i got from cvs or walgreens. i put blonde highlights in my hair and then dyed the highlights blue. that minimalized the rubbing off onto my clothes and skin and also kept a pretty bright color. the brand i used before that was true n blue (something like that). i think i prefered the splat. it still did fade to a greenish but it wasnt as terrible because it was only streaks instead of a head of green hair. and i lasted a pretty good amount of time. you can see a picture of it on myspace if you do a search for adventues in jaqui land

On ebay, they're selling a product called "Lolane Cool and Easy" Permanent Hair dye. I have not tried it myself but I am also looking for a permanent hair dye in steel blue. They seem to have a couple of shades of blue - light and royal...

Hi,

where did you find your clip in hair extensions?

you should bleach your hair before you dye it if you want it to be perfectly blue.

A good tip if you only have tips or streaks dyed. When you are lathering your shampoo on your hair, put it on the non-dyed parts first then work the lather to the rest of your hair. It takes out less then if you lather otherwise. So you can have it blue (or whatever color) a little longer.

For those who do not care about having a slightly dyed bathtub.....get a half empty bottle of your color friendly shampoo and add some of your dye to it!!!! It is no to messy unless you add alot of dye and it helps put the color back in instead of out!!!!
